I just finished reading this book and had to review it immediately! I started reading the book really not knowing what to expect but was soon enthralled by Craig Sampson's ability to convey such deep truths about the human condition (as well as the canine condition). I was touched and affected by Koda's philosophy that we all should live by...live in the moment, be quick to forgive, hold no grudges and love unconditionally! Read the book and enjoy!!
This was a very enjoyable read! The main character, Koda, is a likeable dog that people can identify with, especially dog owners who have ever had an easy going, loyal, loving canine friend.
I enjoyed how this tale is told from the dog's point of view and gives wonderful exposure to the idea that animals, like Koda, often have missions in life they've come to earth to partake in. The story additionally highlight's Koda's mission on the other side which was full of new ideas I've not read in other books.
I am happy to have had the opportunity to read this story!
